We collect and use information about you to communicate with you about our services, fundraisers, programs and events, and to customize our communications in those areas. We also collect information to enroll Senior Partners (mentors); enable you to make donations to MDP and enable you to stay informed on current issues important to MDP. When you inquire online to learn more about becoming a Senior Partner, you give us your name and email. You must be at least 18 years old in order to become a Senior Partner. MDP does not knowingly collect or maintain any personal information from children under the age of 13.
Does MDP share the information it obtains about me with third parties?
MDP does not share personal information about you with any third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do share this information with service providers we have retained to perform services on our behalf, but these service providers are not authorized by us to use or disclose the information except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or to comply with legal requirements. We also may disclose information about you to other members of the MDP family (such as staff).

The security of personal information is a high priority for MDP. We use secure servers to protect against unauthorized disclosure, use, alteration and destruction of the personal information in our possession.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
