VOLUNTEER: MENTOR
Our volunteers have fun and experience personal growth while participating in the Partners program. Volunteers support and listen to the kids they mentor. There is no typical volunteer and you need not have a background working with at-risk youth to be an effective mentor. The single most important requirement is to have the desire to positively impact a child. The benefits of volunteering with Partners are immeasurable; the experience will surely enrich your life in many ways.
We match each mentor with a mentee using well-established practices that have proven success. Additionally, each of our volunteers receives support services to ensure the development of a successful partnership.
To become a mentor with Partners, we first ask that you attend an Orientation session at our offices. This is a time to hear all about the kids we serve, what we ask of our mentors and what our mentors can expect from our organization. At any time, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
